Looking to get into archery but unsure where to start? Nestled between Lake McBride and Coralville Lake, participants will enjoy a hands on weekend, learning the ins and outs of archery, bowhunting and bowfishing.
Throughout the weekend, you'll have plenty of time to learn through hands-on demonstrations. Lodging, food and equipment will be provided. Please note the event is for folks over 21 years of age.
Arrive Friday evenings for introductions, dinner and some time on the range. Saturday will be spent becoming more familiar with the bow and arrow, as well as learning bowhunting skills, before enjoying the evening around the campfire. Sunda will be spent refining skills and learning more.
Grab a friend and register as space is limited! Instruction using compound bows is provided, with a chance to try your hand at bowfishing. No experience necessary; all equipment provided. If you have your own equipment, please bring it! The event is $200 per person and includes food, communal lodging at a charming lodge nestled between Lake MacBride and Coralville Reservoir, and equipment.
